I need specs for my polk 6.5" mids...
Im trying to finish my new system in my 87 VW GTI. I have some Polk EX3 6.5 mids on my rear deck and the tweaters and X overs they came with are matched up with a set of 3.5" mids for my front stage. My bassis an Audiobahn 15" in a large sealed enclosure.
My problem is as it always has been 100hz-250hz. To produce
a system in a car that is for both acuracy and spl this freq range is
hard as hell to produce with out blowing my rear speakers or dealing with high resonance from the sub. I have tried dynomating and even baffled all midrange speakers. The system sounds nice and is loud but the flat spot I produce is making me mad as hell.
I want to enclose my 6.5" mid range and tune the enclosure
to 200 hz and cross over the speakers between 100-300hz. This wouldnt be a problem if the speakers came with the specs so I could build such an enclosure. So can anyone give me the information?Anyhelp would be great thanks.

You should post your question in the Car Audio area, you'll get better info there.
