Carver RH-74 remote

I am looking for a Carver RH-74 or 74a for a Carver HR-742 receiver.
Under $20 (hopefully) I picked up a Carver HR-742 at Goodwill, but the only remotes I found currently on eBay want more than I paid for the receiver for a remote.

IDK if a RH-75 (from HR-752) or a RH-73 (HR-732) would work as well.

This guy gets Carver remotes all the time, some cheap, some not. You might make contact and see what's what.;)

Damn!! I forgot about this NEW Carver learning remote for $25.00 shipped off of ebay. These supposedly cost around $120.00 back in the day, the only thing is, it's a "learning" remote so you need another remote to "teach" it the codes/signals. Have you visited either of the Carver forums?

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have a remote to teach it. I have searched on Carver, but have not put up a WTB yet. Since I have not posted over there, I thought I might get 'better help; here first.

Not sure if you contacted Tom at Vintage HIFI shop yet. I don't know if he has one but he is the type of guy that can find one. All he does all day is look for audio equipment he can buy to put in his audio shop.

He is a stand up guy and if you are willing to wait he will find one for you at a price you are looking to pay. I have bought a lot of Carver gear off of him over the years.

My point about the learning remote and the Carver forums was..... if you get one and send it to a member for "learning"........you're in buisness!:)
