Got a chance to spin the first half of the film today and WOW, amazing PQ and SQ, really good for a film that had never even gotten a anamorphic transfer to dvd. Finally, justice has been done to one of the best popcorn films ever.
If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

Still the only movie I've ever walked out on. Michael Bay never ceases to amaze me with his sheer retardation.
Here's a fun game to play whilst watching this flick. Take a deep breath everytime the camera cuts to a different shot. Quickly pass out. Abruptly wake up from an unnecessary (but emotionally charged) explosion. Rinse and repeat.

And just let the good times (and brain damage) roll...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Hey Ron, could you send it to me when you are done? Thanks buddy! :p
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

The opening scene of BWillis golfing off of the rig in the S. Chine Sea (it was actually in the Gulf of Mexico) - I was on the Enserch GB388 during the filming. Liv Tyler was such a diva - had to be flown back the Galveston daily because she was claustrophobic. Michael Clark Duncan was the friendliest of the bunch.

...and I sure hope he keeps up with his sheer retardation because it makes for excellent film.
