Interview Tomorrow

So, tomorrow morning I've got my first interview in about 3 years, and my first ever interview for a professional level gig. I've got pretty good feelings about it thus far, as I dropped off my resume yesterday and they called me at work this morning to set up the interview.
Anyway, I'm super-excited, and nervous as hell. Wish me luck, and if you have any advice, please share it!

What industry is the job in? (factor to consider for attire, attitude, etc.)
-
No, not at all; Skilled trade. I couldn't afford 'real' college, so my plan is to do this (HVAC work) to get by until I can save up enough pennies to finance a bachelor's or above in some form of engineering.
-
good luck J

Best of luck. Just got a new job myself... goodbye family dollar!

Good luck J Allen.
Some things you could do beforehand are:
1) Research the company and its culture
2) Think and prepare previous success stories/situations
3) Review your own strengths and weaknesses
4) Why you left previous jobs
5) Describe a tough situation and how you handled it
6) Why do you want to work for the company
Of course there are more questions that could be asked. Remember to sum up your strengths before leaving the interview and ask for a business card.

well, I'm back from the interview, and don't have a job (yet). I'm supposedly going to hear back from them tomorrow or Monday. I reckon I'll call them up Monday if they don't call me first.
-
I would wait to call until tuesday if I were you. Normally hiring decisions aren't made on Mondays and if they are waiting on a background check or anything else it may take an extra day over the weekend.
Hope you get the job! -

+1
A follow up letter is always go to do, regardless of the outcome. Make sure the letter is free of any errors. Do include some points that were shared during the interview process. Companies with an available position have filters to separate those that are fit versus those that are not. Among the filtered, the remaining future prospects that fit the job description normally will be judged from a different perspective; this is when your character and self presentation separates you from the others.
Good Luck,

The GLAT, or "Google Labs Aptitude Test". Just for fun. (Note, recruits don't actually take that particular test, but interviewers ask questions in the same vein, or so I've heard).
