Question for you guys, I have a yamaha reciever with pre-outs and I have sda2.3 speakers. I would like to by two amps to bi-amp them as everyone says its better, but I have a couple of questions.

If i get two 100 watt/channel amps how do i connect them to my receiver? Do i split the signal from the pre-out using a Y-cable/adapter?

Is 100watts per channel bi-amped equal to power of a 200 watt amp driving the speaker bi-wired?

What do i look for in an amp? What is the difference between high and low current power? Is one better than the other?

Yes, use a single interconnet out of the receiver then at the amp, use a 'Y' splitter for the two channels.

    No.

Not sure exactly what your asking here. If your talking about high-current amps, your seperates are as well as your higher end receivers.
