pioneer vsx 94 for sale 45 bucks. the old man who answered didnt say it had a tx or txh. those are what is on the review sites.that is the giant expensive receiver, also a pioneer pl 600 with the s arm not the cheapie for 25. i just wanted to know it was that receiver. theres no other 94 elites without the numbers right. the old guy said everything works fine.

    by the way the reason im making such a fuss is its a 6 hour ride to the guys place who has this stuff

    That's an old Pioneer ProLogic unit, not really worth much. The turntable is probably decent, but I don't know if I'd go 6 hours for it.

    bought the vsx49. its not the deal of a lifetime, its what bill said. for 40 bucks what the hell. it sounds great. only problem there is a looseness in the board of speaker connectors. a couple channels cut out, as you move the assembly it cuts back in.. the assembly connects with a multi pin connector, is this worth having it fixed to use as a third room receiver

    That is an easy fix.if you have a solder machine you can do it. I never liked those connections, just mark the connections before cutting them and solder directly to the board. if you send it to a tech, He probably charge you from $60-$80. :(
