Rear Speakers? - Onkyo 806 Bi-amped (5.1) or not (7.1)?

I have read a few comments on the Onkyo 806 and its questionable bi-amping capabilities, so I would like to solicit advice on my current setup. My living room setup is a 20" x 40" room w/ 10' ceiling with unusual hallway and dining room connections that made made speaker positioning difficult.
...The 55" TV is in the front center, the LSiC is directly under the TV, seating is 10' in front of TV, the sub-woofer on the floor near right LSi9, and cabling is using 10 gauge stranded copper.
...The bi-amped LSi9's are approximately 7' off to each side of the TV, too close to the room corners and 7' off the floor (poor choice in placement due to large attached hallway, art, and fireplace on left & right of TV entertainment center).
...The LSiFX Surround Speakers are 10' directly to the left and right of the seating about 9' off the floor (left wall is 7' x 18' glass window), they are set to Bi-Pole. The rear wall is over 25' away from them.
...I have wired for the rear speakers to mount on ceiling beam 8' behind seating, approximately 6' off to each side of seating, and 9' off floor.
...Now to my questions:
1. Does the Bi-Amping of the LSi9s with the 806 for 5.1 really make a difference? or will my setup benefit better changing to 7.1 with rear speakers?
2. What rear speakers would be recommended?
3. Any other comments for improvements on this setup? The room has it challenges but I am open to suggestions.

LSi are 4 ohm speakers to verify that your "AVR" has this capability.
LSi excellent speaker if you get good amplification.
    Bi-wiring or bi-amping is a better.
