Guys,
is there any true reason(s) why every single speaker wires, interconnects, power cords, etc. that you bought from boutique/after market companies out there (bettercables, signal cable, CATcables, VH, Bluejeancables, etc.) always have the techflex on? Other than cosmetic/aesthetic/presentation/appearance reasons or perhaps an attempt to conceal the original wire manufacturers, is there any *noticable* sonic improvement sleeving these cables/wires?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

And most importantly the strength or stiffness it adds...

The techflex keeps the hanging weight of the wire from crimping the wire at the termination, which could lead to breaking, fraying, etc.
