I have a pair of RTi8's and am looking to start filling in the rest of a surround system.

newegg has a sale on some of the Polk Center speakers. My question is which center speakers best match the RTi8's?

Sale items include CS1, CS2, CS10 & CS20's.

Thanks

The CSi5 or CSiA6 are the best match. They share the same exact drivers as the RTi8.

CSi3 is the second best match.

I'd choose between these two if you can.

Dont buy the csi3 because it doesn't go as good as the csi5

I had the csi3 and my rti8 overpowered it too much so I had to buy the csi5 and it was as good a match as the rti6 and csi3 together

Besyt advice would be paring these combo's

Definitely the CSi5...it's the proper timbre match.

None of the centers you mentioned will be a proper match to the RTi8's, since they have very different drivers.

They could work, and sound just fine for your tastes...but it won't be as good as using a timbre matched center.

I have the RTi8's and used a CSi3 for several years and recently upgraded to the CSi5. Exponentially better match and overall sound quality versus the CSi3..

I couldn't get rid of my old CSi3 fast enough.. That OneCall deal sounds good to me!

I have hte A5's and the CSiA4 center. I am pretty happy with the combo. I am afraid to hear what the CSiA6 sounds like. I will probably want to update immediately. I will have to get a new TV first though. My DLP sits on a the stand and the center is on a shelf below it. The CSiA6 will not fint on the shelf, so i woul dneed a new tv to open up the stand for a new center.

Upgraditis. I swear it is a disease.

If you have the room, get the 5/A6. I used to have the CSi5 and it was very nice....

Although I will say that with some mods and some good clean power, the A4 REALLY comes alive!! I've also noticed that this speaker takes A LONG time to break in compared to my 8's and CSi5

Thanks everyone. Just ordered the CSi5 from One Call. Anxious to see how it sounds. Now ... any thoughts on subwoofer and rear surrounds?
