I like my Polk setup.
My audio setup was "5.1" today is "7.1."
Install two LSiC Polkaudio Vertically as Surround Speaker.
I agree that the result is excellent and integrates seamlessly with all LSi.
First was the idea, see and find out a lot. This forum helped me a lot and was essential. Ask Polk Customer Service and received confirmation by e-mail.
Today I enjoy my 7.1 system series "LSi" PolkAudio:)

    Hi Bernal
    Great set-up
Why did you choose the LSIC's over the LSI9's or
    the LSI7's ? I see you already have LSIFX's.

    Thanks for your reply.

1 .- I like the style of LSiC
    2 .- Technical equivalence LSiF/X.
3 .- LSi9 is excellent, but my ears prefer LSiC
4 .- If the LSi9 is used as surround speakers and center; Why I can not use the "LSiC" as surround speakers?.
    ....:)

Bernal, how high did you mount them?

Speaker Stands - Adjustable-Height Speaker Stands
Height-adjustable speaker stands allow customized installation and optimal .

Did you compare the LSiC speakers horizontal vs vertical?

Study the subject carefully. There are many positions, not all true. Ask PolkAudio. I made several tests with the specialist dealer PolkAudio (LSi9 "versus" LSic). My guests and I approved the LSiC. I'm happy with the image and detail.:)

What was your final height to the center of the tweeter in cm?

I'll take the measure to return

Did you try the LSiC's horizontally to compare with your vertical configuration?

    It was the first concern.
    Horizontal location do not like.
Vertical resulted Wow. Furthermore, by placing it in a mirror.

Do you have a model type and number or a web link to the stands you purchased?
Many of us would be interested in the stands you used.

This is the model that makes a good friend: (Attachments)

    God Bernal,

That stand looks like some Roman Tower assault weapon/vehicle!

Congrats on the new speakers. I've never run a full 7.1....my room is not suited for it..and my wife won't stand for it.

BTW....how do "YOU" get your speakers? Can you buy them in France or do you 'ship' them to Costa Rica?

If the style is interesting. It is made by a good friend. I made changes in wood (oak)
In Costa Rica, is a distributor and handles all models. It authorized service and parts.
In France I have not seen Polk dealer.
In France, my audio system is MBL

Personally, I'd switch your surrounds. You should have difused on the sides (LSiFX) and direct radiating on the back wall (LSiC's).
Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    Thank you.

In my room bipole function of the speakers' LSif / X "is perfect.:)
You do not need any changes.
