I have a pair of vintage Time Window 1a speakers. They still sound good but they have lost a little luster. I bought them in 1984 for 900.00 which was way more than I could afford back then. Does anybody think they would be worth refurbishing or should I sell them? I love my new TSi 100s with my Velodyne sub. It's a great 2 channel music setup.

Wonderful speakers (well at least the original timewindow 1 series were); "loss of lustre"? Maybe new crossover capacitors would help, but the drivers are probably glued in; not the most repair-friendly loudspeakers ever made. I hope your tweeters (Philips OEM) are OK.
