Looking for a replacement record clamp for a VPI scout table. I'd be interested in the all delrin or SS/delrin versions. Thanks.

I have a 2 piece Delrin-- reason is,,I dropped it and the retaining rig snapped off,and there is not enough thread to replace it,,, other than that it works great--make me an offer.;)JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Get a Clearaudio Twister clamp. It is leaps and bound better than the stock VPI delrin clamp and gives you more control over the down pressure on the label of the record.

It is much like the clamp I designed it will startle you with the improvement in SQ.
BTW what's with you guys dropping clamps? -

After hearing about your clamp, everyone are trowing their clamp on the floor to justify buying one of yours. However, you better get back in business. Get your partners together and get to work, Polkies are waiting on those clamps
I hear Bro, there are things in the hopper with me and a few Polkies. We are going to get a conference call going and start kicking around the ideas on possibly getting 25 or so made at a reasonable price.
BTW thanks for the kinds words.:) -

Yes. I've been keeping track of the threads regarding the clamp (especially the latest one). Keep Polkies posted on the development, you never know what can come out of it!
Cheers!

Thank you Sir, I'm humbled!:):o -
I put an idiot string on the clamp you sold me, Gus.

I was unloading a bunch of stuff from the car and trying to carry too much at once. Clamp dropped and I knew as it was falling that I was F'ed! Oh well, gives an excuse to upgrade.2 Channel

Hahaha, I can relate to that as I am a lazy bastage to hard to make two trips!:D Luckily it was just that clamp that took the hit, it could have been something that couldn't be replaced with a reasonable amount of dough.
Seriously though, Clearaudio Twister Clamp. You won't be disappointed.
