Good Deal on SDA 2?

Polkies..

Have been following your boards for a while as I have been looking for a good pair of used polks. Wanted to get your thoughts on these I found on CL.

    Go give em a listen,, 200 bucks ain't a bad price,as they appear to be in decent shape.Me,, I want a pair of 2B's so I can do the TL upgrade.Good luck--keep us posted.

    The 2s have dimensional tweeters which were discontinued because they interfered with each other some. But that may or may not be a problem for you...200 is a fair price. If you don't have a stereo receiver that Harman Kardon is also not bad for 100...plenty of power for the SDAs and a warm sound. Maybe you could negotiate a slightly lower price for BOTH.

    I think too that people aren't used to hearing instruments flying over their heads or coming from behind them which is what I experienced from my original CRSs. I kind of liked the effect.

    Thanks for your comments, someone else got the speakers before me. If there is anyone in the Madison WI area that has some similar polks, I would be interested..and no Toolforlifefan, i was not the seller.
