New system setup Question: Monitor 60s & PSW505

This is my first time post....
My reciever was an old JVC (pre component input) receiver that needed to be updated. Well one thing led to another and I just purchased the following:
CS2 - Center Channel
Monitor 60s - front
Surround - In Ceiling (I forget the manufacturer)
Receiver - Sony STR-DA4300ES
Subwoofer - PSW505
All for for about $1100.00, which I think is a great deal no matter what my wife says....
Currently I have the 60s Bi-Amped, and the receivers rca subwoofer out going to the LFE input of the 505. I have the Xover of 60s set to 70 and the center & surround set to 90.
Would it be better to send the speaker input to the subwoofer first, set the xover on the subwoofer and then feed the 60s from that?
Also, would it still be possible to bi-amp the 60s doing it this way, if I run the subwoofer out to the bottom posts of the 60s and the receiver bi-amp out to the top posts (or vice versa)?
Or am I overthinking this as it sounds pretty amazing as it is....?

Welcome to cp.
The lfe is the way to go.You lose a good deal of impact using the subs internal xover.

Also I would try setting your surrounds to a minimal of 120.You will get better high frequency response.IMOParasound Avc-1800

Hi Gusman!
Welcome to Club Polk! I found myself in the same situation for the past couple of months. My wife suggested a blueray player, then I realized we needed an HDMI equipped AVR to take advantage of it, then.... Now I own a completely new rig (Jemrey81 suggested that I might need better cables – I've been reading a lot of what the guys have been saying about external amps (Emotivas)– cables, amps where does it end?) I followed xcapri79's advice, used the Pre-Out on my AVR to the LFE on the PSW 505 and set the xovers to 80Hz – I'm hearing things I never knew were included on the soundtracks! (When I watched Silverado with the new setup I almost jumped off the couch!).
My wife wasn't thrilled with the idea of floor standing speakers, and didn't care for the “round thingies” on their fronts, but once she heard them and realized that the speakers came with mesh covers for the “round thingies” she warmed up to the Polks. Hopefully your wife will as well.
Best Wishes
Pappy

Do yourself a favor and run the auto calibration program on that Sony, it will by no means dial everything in perfectly, but it will give you a good place to start. I run my 70's at Full Band, my center at 80hz, my surrounds at Full Band and my sub at 120hz I think. It will take some tinkering, but 80hz is usually a good place to start. Good luck and welcome to Club Polk.

WELCOME TO CLUB POLK!!
BTW....have you seen the headphones and the amp to power them that costs north of 32,000 dollars? Yeah! That's how bad it can get!!
So you're wife should count her blessings that your system is only around a grand or so,
