suggestions on affordable acoustic dampening panels.
any ideas on affordable but effective acoustic panels (for rooms).
currently, listening to live recordings in a live room... well, can get dizzying.
has to be WAF +.
any and all replies are much appreciated.

I am currently using ATF and Gik companies', and they seem to work for my purpose.

ATSacoustics defintely looks nice for the price! Have you looked into making your own?

Another vote for GIK."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

the DIY route certainly looks interesting.
thanks for the links guys.. will need to peruse the return policy as i have no idea if it will make any difference/fix the room.

DIY is not that difficult. I put together four 2' x 4' panels a couple of months ago and I'm not exactly a handyman. I think they cost about $30-$35 each by the time I was finished. Have the wife pick out the material, that should help with the approval factor. Probably one of the best bang for the buck improvements I have made.
