Starts tomorrow evening football fans!

I'll start...my team for life is the Cleveland Browns.

Give me the running back from Clemson with the 1st pick and the QB from Texas with pick #2. Great way to re-build our team.

What say you?

For the Bears, I predict they use the full potential of Chester Taylor and have a great season. They will make the playoffs with a wildcard slot

We are going to trade up. Way up.

We shall then select as the first pick in the 2010 draft : Ndamukong Suh

#1 defense will be almost unstoppable.

OK, reality break. I have no clue about where the Jets will go with this draft, I like the idea of grabbing another OL ( current starters can't be expected to play another whole season without some downtime), or maybe someone to shore up the defensive front. Other than that, I like their chances this year even if they stand pat right now.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Jets have made some great moves this offseason and most likely will continue with a strong draft. Get on the bandwagon folks. These JETS are lookin' good.

What are you complaining about? The Jets have a great gm and coach and make moves. Lt, Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes, and Antonio Cromartie. They have already improved in talent an leadership. The draft is icing. I favor the Jets to go all the way for the AFC. ****.
Unlike my Chargers, again with no offseason moves, again with letting talent go without compensation, and probably again with another #1 pick flop.
Oh well u gotta stay loyal. But if not the Chargers, I like to see the jets go for LT's sake.
Its a long time until kickoff.

virtualdean, since you quoted me (??;)), do you see that I am complaining? :D

And for the record, I've been a Jets fan since John Riggins was their RB; some pretty damn lean years mixed in there, too! It was tough watching Ken O'Brien as a starting QB for years knowing Dan Marino was selected after him in the '83 draft.

He definitely needs to play better than the 20 ints and the qb rating of 67 from last year. Jets aren't going to sneak up on anybody this year.

Bears snuck up on the league when they went to the Superbowl just by good defense, special teams and running the ball. NFC was also weak that year. The AFC is looking like it may be a little weak this year.

I think the people who pass on Colt McCoy will regret it in about 5 years.I also am surprised most project Brandon Spikes out of Florida as low as they do. I have personally talked to Torell Troup out of UCF ( I'm a student there) and that kid has the heart and passion as well as the skill set to develop into a great DT in a few seasons; I think he is knocked for playing college ball in C-USA instead of a BCS conference.

I hope the Vikings snag a good RB, maybe Ryan Mathews if he makes it that far down the 1st round, to make up for the loss of Chester Taylor. He played a huge role last year, very underrated. I gotta say though, I liked the Jets last year and I still do, because I really like Rex as a coach, I think Sanchez is going to develop into a great QB and I love his attitude, and they have made some great moves during the offseason. The AFC better watch out.

If this year doesn't go well, I'm willing to bet McDaniels is out of there. Fans didn't like him before the draft, and I don't think tonight exactly helped.

As a life-long Bronco fan I'll agree that McKid is on a short lease with the fans as he has made a couple of classic blunders, the first of which is trying to be Bellichik clone, he isn't. Dumping the zone blocking run game was stupid beyond belief as it led to them losing the best running backs coach in the game in Bobby Turner. The O-line last year tried to run a hybrid system that failed. That could be even worse this year as Patriots never have had a quality run game and McKid is trying install that system in Denver.

That being said I like how he has handled the first round, by moving down he got the big WR he wanted, and in Tebow a big-time leader. Not to mention an extra pick in the third. Now, if they can find a hard-nosed inside LB and center, along with two diamonds in thr ough, it will be a successful draft.

Colts fan here. I lived and died Chicago Bears for years but that old crew is gone now.
The Colts are going to need a future QB and solid back up for now.
They also need a couple of good run blockers on the front O-line.
I'm reading that this a good deep draft pool to draw on.
The later rounds should be interesting.

Sadly, I do. He was a monster producer with the Broncos, but the Darrent Williams murder trial brought to light that his mouth and actions helped to instigate the eventual murder of his teammate. Those demons would continue to haunt him in Denver.
