Did a minor search here and still
There's this linky http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/home_av/tvs/0,39037594,39213503,00.htm but still no proper procedure. I dont have the calibration disc AVIA, wondering if the one that comes with BLURAY/THX movies would be sufficient? Please advice.

In home non-professional calibrations on your display are tough to get right. The AVIA disc will help but even with patience will produce marginal results.
After having professional calibration done, see the very expensive and specialized equipment used, the time/skills involved and the results when completed will tell the story.Parasound C1, T3, HCA-3500, HCA-2205A, P/DD1550, Pioneer DV-79avi, Oppo BDP-83, WD Media Server W/HDD,
Dynaudio Contour 3.3, Dynaudio Contour T2.1, Polk OWM3, Polk DSW micropro 1000 (x2),
Pioneer Kuro 50" Plasma, Phillips Pronto Control w/Niles HT-MSU. -

Didn't someone post about a product that actually included a color meter? I remember the link from a recent thread. I would be interested in the actual results you can get from something like this.

I have achieved good results with the DVE DVD and the S&M disc but it took a lot of reading and patience. Still, I would love to get a pro calibration.-Kevin

I got the below link from another thread several months ago. Don't remember the thread, just book marked the sight.
I tried it, but personally did not like the results and recalibrated on my own. But, you might like it.
