    Yep, I think I'm in love-lol.

She's the real thing and if (when) she wins Idol, I hope they don't mess w/her authenticity and try to make her someone she is not.

    H9
"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!

I like her too. She has one of the strongest voices on the show and I personally like the song she chose this week. As H9 mentioned, I hope the Idol machine does not mold her too much.

I think it's interesting that she always brings out an area rug to sing on, and this week she brought out her custom mic stand which looked to be a converted lamp.

she won't win, but she'll come in second. thats cool though, more often than not the number 2 is more successful after the show than number one

    Fantasia anyone? :p

Why is Siobhan always appeared to be so defensive as if the judges were trying to knock her down? or appeared to be on the verge of crying? *weird*
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Does anyone remember who won last season? It sure wasn't Adam Lambert.

That Chris Allen dude. Unfortunately, looking at his and Lambert's new singles, Lambert stomped all over him.

Eva was a lofty talent, for sure...Put Sox in a studio, make her comfy with rugs and incense...she'd be a powerful force...singing truncated songs in front of a no clue audience and those judges. not to mention millions at home..it has an effect..i know i couldnt do it:p

    thanks for the eva link!

I taught as a substitute teacher at the high school Chrystal went to (Toledo School for the Arts). I was in heaven. I tried everything I could thing of to land a contracted job there. But, alas it was not meant to be. There is a young lady there now named Shelby something who is in her Jr. year. She is going to make some noise when she graduates as well. The voice teacher there, an amazing talent herself, said back in '06-'07 that Shelby reminded her a great deal of Chrystal. Sorry for the long post.
