I am using the two RTi8 as fronts and recently bought the CSiA6 for center and FXiA4 for my surrounds. I am now looking to add a subwoofer and was looking at the PSW 110/111 or the wireless PSW 225. Anyone have thoughts on if the basic setup makes sense and what would be a good subwoofer to add?

You will need a pretty good sub to hang with those 8's since both the 110/111 both bottom out around 40hz, which is where the 8's bottom out as well. The 225 bottoms out around there as well. Best bet for a budget sub that will dig deep is the PSW 505, and for $250 clams, you can't beat it. It bottoms out around 25hz, and if set up right will do fairly well for music as well. If not, for a bit more money you can look into the DSW series. Welcome to Club Polk.

thanks for that. I live in London now where everything is double the cost hence the lower budget for the sub....

any suggestions for receivers with this setup? Am using the CAmbridge Audio Azur 540R now but thinking of upgrading...setup is mostly for movies, less for music...
