Boston remastered

I recently picked up a remastered CD of Boston's first album. I'm not impressed. Seems like the midbass and midrange are both accentuated too much, like they tried to give it more body. I prefer the first release, FWIW. Sometimes remasters just don't work out.

I prefer the LP. It is done perfectly and the SQ is engaging.

I have the LP, original redbook and SACD. The SACD is the best of the 3 IMO."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

I bet the SACD would sound schweet.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

I haven't heard the SACD yet. It's good to know they did a good job on it.:)
