Boston remastered

I recently picked up a remastered CD of Boston's first album. I'm not impressed. Seems like the midbass and midrange are both accentuated too much, like they tried to give it more body. I prefer the first release, FWIW. Sometimes remasters just don't work out.

    I prefer the LP. It is done perfectly and the SQ is engaging.

    I have the LP, original redbook and SACD. The SACD is the best of the 3 IMO.

    I bet the SACD would sound schweet.

    I haven't heard the SACD yet. It's good to know they did a good job on it.:)
