this realey sucked but let me start a new remodleing project. you know the square box with the black tile on it next to the front couch holds the sump. now the box is gone and i am going to extend the platform in the shape of the box and put a chair on it. and i will have more room to seat peeps.

So, what did you have to do, rip out part of the wall to fix the sump pump or was that from water damage?

Ok, I got it. Yeah, nice room and I can see the advantage of flush mounting the new cover.
