    OK, I don't get that excited but I have been a Shelby Lynne fan for a while. Her covers of Dusty Springfield songs are very nice. I had her new one on pre-order so hopefully it shows up soon.

    Also check out her sister, Allison Moorer, recently married to Steve Earle.
    For me, it's a toss up,both are great. Their duets are really nice. :)

    Not a big fan. I bought her album I am Shelby Lynne on the strength of the song Life is Bad, which was getting some airplay at the time on certain stations... but I was very disappointed in the rest of the album. I should try the Dusty covers album; I've read good things about it.

    She comes from a pretty tragic background (as, of course, also does her sister), so I don't begrudge her her success!
