onkyo silver vhs player.

im looking for a silver vhs player (onkyo) for the kids movies. doesnt have to be the top one in its time, though s vid would be cool, but it does have to be in great shape. it must be "living room " condish lol. i know im looking for a long shot but somebody has to have one somewhere.

    I don't think Onkyo did an S-VHS (S-video output), JVC did a few decent ones. I take it you are matching a silver Onkyo receiver, and just keeping the look clean and matched for their rig? Proscan was hot for picture quality, I never used anything but Panasonic for VHS, period. 4 head, excellent recording, and playback quality - so good I actually used to record live performances on FM to playback on the 2ch rig via VHS. (and they had silver models iirc)

    I'll keep my eyes open, the pawn shops around here have STACKS of VCR's they can't GIVE away.

    ive had the panasonic double feature for quite some time and love it. it has however finally hit the road so to speak. i would love to find another one nib but i doubt that will happen. thanks for looking!:)

    RCA made a commercial SVHS player as well... I think mine's still sitting in the closet at my parents house...next to the 3 JVC SVHS players :)
