RTi70 - how do you get the powerport cone off?

I'm replacing the baseplate on my RTi70 (which as I've related before was destroyed by dog urine) and I can't figure out how to get the powerport cone off of the ruined piece to put on the new baseplate. Anyone got a clue? I'm seriously doing this RIGHT NOW, so quick responses are appreciated.

You might have already figured this out, as you are already offline, but I have looked at mine and I think it is just a hollow plastic cone. So I would take some measurements and then use a sharp utility knife to cut into the MDF just below the cone, and then clean up any excess MDF and glue after you have it removed. That way there is no chance of damage to the cone itself.
Pictures of the process would be usefully for anyone else trying this.
Let us know how it went. Good luck -
Fortunately, Ken Swauger told me it was glue by PM, and careful use of a very thin putty knife got it free from the base. I was concerned about it vibrating against the new base, so I put a light bead of caulk around it before pressing it into place. Once it sets up, I'll have the speaker back together.
Didn't get a pic of the process, but I did take a few cell phone pics of the urine-damaged base. If the dog weren't so cute... I swear to God... DEAD! Fortunately, he's completely housebroken now, but my paranoid side just lined the edge of the base with Saran Wrap as a temporary security measure.Equipment list:

Glad you got it off in one piece. I knew it was glued on, since they different materials, but I was not sure how easy it was to take off.
