Nothing to laugh at. This is very local to me...the man arrested lives in the town next to me. I'm glad I'm not a Phillies fan because I'd be embarassed by fans like this. It was a cop and his family he assaulted. A friend of his was thrown out, and he was still throwing verbal jabs at the cop (yes cop) in front of him. Apparently when the turned around and told him to shut his trap, he said something along the lines of, "Oh yeah, if you try it I'll just puke on you". He stuck his fingers down his throat and projectile vomited all over the cops daugher. I think this is the sickest thing I've ever heard, and I'm embarassed to even live near this punk. If you look at him, he just looks like a 35 year old virgin who was trying to impress his friends...I'm sure everyone is really impressed.

UGH! Just what we need another bunch of jackasses to give Philly fans another black eye. I hope they throw the book at that jerk and his crew.
"It reminds you of the type of behavior you used to hear about at the 700 level in Veterans Stadium," Philadelphia police spokesman Lt. Frank Vanore said, according to the Daily News.

See what I mean. They go back to the behavior of a few **** in the 700 level and lay it on the whole population of the 700 level. I had season tickets for many years in the 700 level and there were only a few areas of that level that were run by a mob of horses asses. Then the whole city gets the bad rep!!!

I find this crap so frustrating!

Feel free to call me immature, childish, or just plain mean, but I think it's rather funny. SURE, I feel bad for the family and all but come on, the guy puked on someone as a means of fighting. I couldn't make up a story that crazy.

    Well said potee.

    What a disgusting individual.

Absoulutely nothing funny about him or his actions.

I wonder how much laughter we would hear from those that find it funny if it had been their chlid or wife or themselves.

You guys are all too serious. Sure, it's sick, sure it's twisted, but it's not like the guy started punching or kicking the girls or the guy... he puked on them. He's getting a hefty punishment for it (judging by 36k bail) so wash it off and watch him sit in the slammer for a while!

Unruly fans ruin the whole experience for the rest of us paying fans - they should be removed from the game, beaten soundly with round sticks, and then removed from gene pool - permanently.

Maybe you are too easily amused.

Dude, do you have any clue how much bacteria is in vomit, not mention acid. How about if the jackass had hep C and and landed on a laceration or abraison on one of those he puked on. . . they would end up with hep C which if not treated properly is lethal not to mention expensive to treat.

Too serious my ****! That guy deserves jail time.

Not just Hep C, A and B as well but HIV/AIDS, TB and any number of pathogens from Lyme Disease to Salmonella and pretty much any strain of flu. Open wounds, eyes, mouth and ears are susceptible to infection. Also, since it's allergy season, people with dried out nasal passages and sinuses from allergy symptoms and treatments are highly susceptible due to the number of burst capillaries from sneezing, rubbing and blowing their noses.

Yeah, the guy is garbage and if you think it's funny then you're garbage too. If it was me, I would have pummeled the guy, posted bail through a bail bondsman and then hired the most cut throat lawyer I could find to screw the piece of garbage to the wall of his jail cell for as long as possible.
