First off, where in the heck are you shipping the amp through?? Fed Ex? Ups? postal service, how much does it weigh, I am sending a set of speakers that weigh at 104 lbs and its about 50 bucks and this is 2 packages.. Check www.fedex.com and see what they want, if its 3 months old send it back and don't void your warranty, But also they will have a authorized repair shop for you to take it too. that should be local,

#1) Check to see if you have a blown fuse.

#2) If the problem is not the fuse, contact the manufacture to see if they have an authorized repair/service center in your area.

#3) Return it to the store you bought it from and demand a NEW replacement.

#4) If 1,2 or 3 don't work, raise enough of a stink with the mfg. so that they cover all or part of the freight costs.

    Let us know what happens.

"IF" it is under warranty, your local Adcom dealer should fix it under warranty.

I didn't realize that Adcom was based out of here in AZ. Out of curiousity holmes, what's the address that you have to send that to for them to repair?

brett, you grabbin' a silver lining here? :)

    dh,
Gotta agree with Frank here. Raise a stink with Adcom and the dealer. Shipping for a waranty repair on a 3-month old amp??? Any amount would be outrageous in my book, but $150... ridiculous.

I'd think Adcom would be dieing to see it and figure out if they've got a design or production problem...

what did Onecall tell you? Did they say ship it to us at your cost and we'll send you a new one.. or they will repair this one?

I think your beef is with Adcom. I can't imagine Adcom wouldn't stand behind their products. This is doubtful.. but maybe they will refund your shipping costs once they receive the amp.

110 lbs? that must be the mother of all amps my friend. Dang!

terms are terms, i bought a new KDS puter monitor and it went out in a few months or so, They have a "Great" 3 year total replacment warranty, catch is you pay freight there they cover it back to you.. 1 month or 1 year if that's their terms, well then enough said.. Why would it be adcoms problem?? First problem is where you purchased it, First i knew they cover it for 30 days as usual, after that it flips to the company who made it, in which case it would be adcom, and i am sure they will be glad to repair or replace at thier decision, But i doubt unless you stink about it they will cover shipping for "Your" amp.. They warranty the item for xx number of years, Not transporting it to them if you move to XX location or what ever.. Now i feel for you i do, and wish they would cover shipping, I have bought and sold for years and shipped 100's and maybe a 1000 items in the last few years and have gotten used to the shipping woes of companies and individuals, Don't take this the wrong way its not your fault, they will fix it i'm sure.. Just not always on "our" terms.. I don't know everything about shipping but i know enough to help out..

whats the weight, and zip codes location to location and size box??? Let me know, Thanks and good luck

The amp by it self weighs 88lbs with the wooden box its 110. Adcom will not accept shipping from any co except a freight co. I made a mistake by not checking to see if there was a repair center in my area before I bought it. I think I deserve a new amp.,Adcom & Onecall dont. I live in Ky that why it cost so much to shipp it.
