Yes, but you'd be entering a whole new world. Make sure you know what you're getting into.

it would..but i've always been led to believe that the LSi series do better for music.. and the RTi line is better for home theater.

stepping up to the LSi line you're looking at... you may have to add additional amps to your system.. they require more high current to run them... running them off most standard receivers is not the best idea.. esp if pushed.. it may fry your receiver.

so unless you got deep pockets.. i would stay with the RTi line. :)

thanks for the advice. i'll do a bit more searching into what it takes to run them. i just love the look of them, but they way they sound is whats important.

sounds like a plan.. yeah at the very least if your recevier has pre amp outs.. all you would then need is a 5 channel amp that can run 4ohm speakers and you would be good to go. ;)

these forums are evil cause all you do is read and look at new stuff and start asking and saying what if i had this or if i had that and bam the upgrade bug bites you.

LOL phip, Al (dangey boy) is spot on with this one. If you start looking into the LSi series, start looking at amps too, an AVR just won't do them justice. Your 805 is one of the better AVR's Onkyo has turned out over the past few years, and it has pre outs for adding an external amp, so you are good to go there.
