    Caught the last 15 min..
Sad that the one capt. passed who had blood clots. I liked him but he smoked way too much plus the stress....:(

I watched some today that was new. I said in another thread "there's always somebody with a better job than me", well I also knew there was somebody who had a rougher job...and these guys have some stamina to put mine to shame.
I watched where the Capt. Sig Hansen stopped smoking for a whole 3 1/2 hrs. Shame...

Awesome start to a new season. Something I've always wanted to do, but had no idea where to start, just to test myself.

    Cheers,

I don't think they showed or talked about his passing in that episode. I just know from the news about 3 months or so ago.

He passed away during opillo crab season. Not sure how they are going to show that or not show that. We wont know untill later in the season. Very sad though.

i gave up on the show.. it's the same thing every episode.. danger on the open seas... crabs are low here.. lets go 150 miles that way.. Oooo, crabs better here. Will we make our goal? Will anyone get injured this time? Will Mary Ellen get pregnant by the deck hand?

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

after two episodes I was hooked, but now i'm just crabby about the whole show.. something is fishy about it all. Not enough drama in the show. :p

I don't have cable, because I don't want to get myself hooked on watching t.v.

But, I've seen a few episodes at friends' places. It's a pretty neat show.

Those who don't get it usually don't know that they don't get it...I'll say 2 short things:

1 - You have a pattern of 'playing dumb' when it comes to television shows, because apparently you're too cool for TV

    and

2 - You should check out www.google.com. It's a search engine, it's pretty cool actually, you just type something into the box and click 'google search' and it scours the interwebs and finds information about what you typed in, hardcore

Finally got around to watching the first episode last night before work, it was pretty good. Kinda weird watching Capt. Phil though, knowing he has passed. I'm still a fanboy of this show, so pi$$ off Al, lol.

Lighten up friend - it was a joke (directed at myself). I'm sorry you chose to ignore it and instead took another jab at me for being too cool.:rolleyes:

I do know what Google is, I don't watch a lot of TV.

The last time this was discussed I also made a joke about me doing something more useful than sit in front of the TV, like sit in front of the computer, where I spend WAY too much time. :D:D

    It's all in fun.

So who is still watching this?

I have to say that it is by far the best season ever. I mean we all know Phil passes away, but to see maybe the reasons of what may have precipitated his strooke is almost to hard to watch. Not wanting to give out to many spoilers incase people have not watched the last few episodes, but the last 10 minutes of yesterdays episode was just so sad to see.

I agree that this is one of the best seasons. Not that Phil passes that is very sad but all of the storylines make it this season. I have a feeling that the series is comming to an end. The captians are ready to retire and Edgar wants off. I think we have one more season.

Been an amazing season to watch, Hollywood couldn't have scripted anything like the emotions going on.
