Can’t get the grills off. How do I get inside?

    Some have used a putty knife to pry em off, but of course you have to protect the veneer. Does not sound like fun. :(

    Probably A10 instead of A25. The size seems too small to be the A25. Also don’t recall wall hanging brackets on the back of my old Dynacos. Try an extra pair of hands, four putty knives and a little prayer.

    Yup, they are A10s. The Dynaco badges are glued to a screw ( I found this out the hard way). After unscrewing the badges you gently pry them off. There are small pin in the remaining 3 corner holding the grill on.

    Besides numerous scratches in the veneer tobacco stained grill cloth and lots of dirt they seem pretty good.

    Any suggestion on the veneer and grill cloth would be appreciated.

    You could put new veneer right over the old stuff with no issue. The veneer is so thin it would match up pretty nicely to the front edges.

    Hey another thought on removing the speaker grilles. I read that someone used drywall screws (after blunting the pointed ends) through the grille frame. You need small pilot holes through the grille frame for the screws to cut in. Keep driving, then the blunted ends would act like a "pusher" tool, reacting off the driver mounting surface, to lift the frame off the glue. Alternate pushing locations (corner to opposite corner, e.g.), and of course go slow and be careful. Kinda like the opposite of a gear puller. FWIW.
