The richness and intricacy of "Junior's" tone on the 12-string defies description. This selection, recorded near the end of his life, is imbued with every nuance of his 50+ years of performing live on the road.
According to the liner notes on this hard to find 1977 Trix album, Junior's wife bought him his first 12-string electric guitar as a gift (that's her on the cover with him). The rest is blues history. I don't think so. Anson is a Texas guitarist. I'm catching him again live Thursday night at The Blue Rooster here in Sarasota. -

Mr Trower is touring the states again in 2018. I will see him @ the Newport here in Columbus. I saw him a couple years ago, and as expected a great show.
The Newport Music Hall holds the honor of being the Longest Continually Running Rock venue in the country.
