Another MIT Believer

Just got 4 pairs of MIT EXp-2 speaker cables from @nooshinjohn in the mail today. It's late and I live in an apartment so no critical listening yet but holy cow. The first thing I noticed, which wasn't subtle at all, was the size of the soundstage. I didn't believe it at first and had to get up and make sure the rear speakers weren't playing anything. I never heard sounds come from this far left/right to almost behind me. I can't wait to really have a go at it once I have some free daylight time.

Let's say, in the future, I jump up to Shotgun's. Is the difference between EXp-2 and Shotguns the same as the difference between EXp-2 and Home Depot wire or where is the point of diminishing return on investment?

Yep, as F1NUT said, major step up in the shotgun series. Point of diminishing returns ? Lies in your wallet my friend. Though one should only bump up those cables as the systems gear/speakers gets better and better.

It's all happening at a snails pace but yes, certainly things to get before upgrading cables again. Like an amp and a 2 channel pre with HT bypass and a better source and DAC than my laptop/AVR DAC. If this keeps getting better, I'm hooked.
