    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2018/10/19/hurricane-michael-family-rides-out-storm-bulldozer/1705915002/

Downloaded the family picture under heading 'This is heartbreak for us' to my desktop. Picture is 66.2 KB size on desktop.

Tried to drag and drop the picture from my desktop to this post.

I received "the file failed to upload" message.

I posted this picture on another local Falcons WordPress blog with no problems

I have posted pictures previously. This problem happened for the first time several weeks ago

    Hello,
I understand what you are saying. As a test I tried to drag an image from my desktop to this post. It worked. Can you try reducing the image size and try again?

Ken, I tried to upload another pic that I took of my cat. It's size is 1.41 MB so size is not the problem.

I'm not sure what the problem is, I'll ask Vanilla to check into it.

When you said you had tried to upload a picture of your "cat" I thought that ...... well.... nice looking crew anyway. :)
