polk sr2 stops playing randomly

i'm using the app from an ipad to stream audio to an SB1 and SR2.
At random intervals, the SR2 stops playing audio. I can still the speaker in the app with the funky equalizer things going up and down so it hasn't disconnected from the network (and it's closer to the AP than the SB1 anyway). If I 'remove' then 'add' it comes back
it updated this morning, it's the first time I have seen this problem. seems like a bug in the new version? how do i go back a version?

update: i found it came back (but only once) when forwarding to the next track from the DLNA server.
but this is not consistent... -
I have the same problem since the update. Did you ever get a response?
