Marine PA4A

Options
I am having a couple of issues with the Polk Marine PA4A system on my new boat. First, the reception is very bad. I can't pick up the stations that I could on my old boat. Plus, the ones I can get fade away when I walk away from the unit. Second, I can't get the blue tooth to recognize either of our Iphones. Thanks

Reception on boats are many times an antenna issue. Without knowing how the antenna was setup on your old boat, it is hard to compare. Many boats use the outer rub trim as an antenna, as odd as it may seem. This can be sometimes get better reception than a separate mounted antenna. I can't be of any help with the BT. Same issue for me. I just got my boat and only issue so far is radio. Poor reception and now it keeps kicking off. Checked wiring and have not found anything loose.

It seems that there is an antenna issue with it. Have not checked it, but guess i would run the same problem.
