Cleaning Stylus With Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

I went to King Soopers yesterday and they had two versions of the Magic Eraser. I bought both just to be safe but can I use both or is one version not safe? One is the "Original" Magic Eraser which is a standard block/rectangle. The other is "Extra Power" Magic Eraser and has wavy sides to it. There is no ingredient list on either box so I'm really unsure of what the difference is.

    Original is the one I've seen recommended. Something is added to the others that is supposedly not good for the stylus.

    Use the original with no soap or cleaners added. Place the ME under the stylus and lower it into it and the raise it up. Repeat a few times. That is all you need to do. If it is possible cut a small square and use some blue tack to attach it to a quarter to give it some mass. This is never used to "stroke" the stylus. Just dip into it. The fibers of the melamine foam (ME) have actual "sharp" edges that will scrape buildup off the diamond as it enters and leaves the foam. (Theoretically could grab the diamond in a bad way if it is stroked across it). I have used it for years with excellent results.

    Extra Power is a tighter weave that claims it lasts 50% longer then the original. Both are safe on stylus.
