I’m using stereo out from my 2 at the moment but I just hooked up my wireworld silver eclipse 7 coax to check and the connection is solid and secure. I don’t seem to have the same issue that you do

Suggesting a 400-600 dollar phono for a 36 dollar cartridge seems a bit overkill. Find yourself a used Cambridge Solo/651p or the like. The art dj pre on amazon gets lots of attention for the money
