They came this way from the factory. There were several upgrades done to these from the factory. Upgraded internal wiring, binding posts and the woofers. Each speaker is hand made one at a time by Mr…3 · -

The Jensen oxygen free copper foil, and air core inductor, along with upgraded wiring, silver solder and point to point wiring. Upgraded woofers also.3 · -
