The wires to the fuse block are known to corrode. Many folks remove the fuse block in its entirety. I'd start looking there first. The caps and resistors are way past due to be replaced.1 · -

Your amp is old enough to more than likely benefit from a bench with all the correct gear and a qualified technician. There may be service bulletins that you are not aware of.1 · -

Yes there are many amps that the caps drain audible on power off. Adcom also comes to mind.2 ·
