In my youth I did this to one of my SDA drivers. I think I used Shoe Goo or rubber cement to repair it. Held up for years.1 · -

Also see if the guy can glue the magnets for you so they don't arrive shifted or at the very least pack them extremely well (no bubble wrap). I use old paper bags crumpled up.1 ·
