Hi, We are a US manufacturer of home stereo preamps. We have two models, the Rhythm 1.1 ($7,500) and the Rhumba 1.1, a new model at $2,995. Both have remote control and two 12au7 tubes.   Very observant! **But** you can ask for more gain, and it shall be yours! Anything up to 18dB very easily, even up to 24dB if you want (although you probably don't want THAT much). Good luck!
