    I've been reading the messages from people having trouble getting help from Polk when their subwoofer dies, and it looks like you can sometimes help. I was on the phone with Polk a long time this morning and talked with 4 people, the last one in the warranty dept. He said he couldn't help me. I bought my PSW-110 7 years ago, and Polk replaced it 2 years later when it failed. I'm now 5 years down the line with it, out of warranty, and getting heartbeat static and lousy performance. This sub is nicely matched with 5 other Polk speakers and I'd like to keep them that way. But I don't want to buy another from them with such a lame track record. Any recommendations?

    Hi Ken, Bumped into this site from a Mix Magazine article referencing the Polk Forum. I have two old tape machines I'd like to make operable. One is an AMPEX. Thought I recognized your name as having worked with Ampex way back.
