New (to me) Lexicon RT-20 uni player

A few days ago I got a Lexicon rt-20 universal (CD, SACD, DVD-A, etc) player. No blue ray. This unit sounds great. I was using and older Pioneer DV-45-A universal player for DVA, SACD, and DVD and there is no comparison. What is more amazing is that my CDs have gotten a new life. I have been using an older Sony X7ES CD player that originally was a $2000 player and there is no comparison. The Lexicon just blows its doors off. The video also seems very good and the player is also equipped for HDMI. I use my system 99.5% for music so I am not a good judge on the video quality but it looks good to me and the reviews all say it is good there too. These Lexicon players had an original list of $4999. Because of the Blue Ray issue they can now be had both new and used on *bay and a-gon for between $725 and $1300 depending on the usual factors. For anyone needing a new universal (less BR) or CD player these things are great.
Good luck, Phil

Thanks for the write up, Phil! I made a couple offers on the 'Gon for RT-20s at around $850 + shipping. No one bit but I have seen there around $900 here and there recently.
I have again purchased an RT-10 as I got a great deal recently. I bought an RT-10 about a year ago but returned it when it arrived scratched after being marked 9/10 on Agon. Hardly listened to it but liked what I heard. Just couldn't stomach spending the kind of scrilla I did at that time ($800) for something that was anything but perfect.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
Bedroom: Samsung HPR-4252, Toshiba HD-A2, HK 3480, Signal Cable, AQ speaker cable, Totem Dreamcatchers, SVS PB10-NSD, URC MX-850 -
*bay seems to be running a bit less than the 'gon but of course it's a bit "stranger" too. I watched both for about a month and saw new rt-20s go for as low as $869 - I missed that by an hour and used go for as low as about $760 incl shipping. I paid $790 incl shipping. Rt-10s also a good unit can now be had for $500 +-.
Enjoy - they are both nice units and I've heard great things about both, Phil
