Hum from receiver itself

Hi its been a long time since I have posted here. I have a question about my Integra 5.6 Receiver.
I moved across the state to Kansas City and plugged in my equipment the other day.
I noticed a realy slight hum from the receiver. Nothing from the speakers. The hum is coming from the transformer on the receiver.
Is this normal or something to do with the power source or a indicator that the transformer is about to go out.
Do i just need a power conditioner to get rid of it? I tried plugging it directly into the wall and it was still there (I removed all rear connections so the only thing plugged in was the power itself)
Any advice?

Transformer hum? You might have DC in your AC.
Here's some more info; a normal power conditioner won't help you.
