Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD..don`t ask !!

Don`t ask me why, but I was readoing a thread earlier about this unit, and decided to look on flea bay...

and under my name..beardog5150, I found one placed a bid of the same number (5150) and won !!

The player and 4 movies !!

Not sure if this is good or not !!

$51.50 for a player I don`t really need , but can use in the office I guess !!

my 22" monitor is a HD DCDi monitor, so I guess it`s a good thing...right ?!!!!

    If you can snatch up a few of those HD DVD's before they burn em all, lol. Hey I'm sure we've all spent $50 on worse things...... I know I have.

    I`m sure it pconverts and works better than the oll dvd player from rat shack !

    I`m sure it makes regular dvd`s look alittle better, yes ?

    I wonder if my computer has a better player than the Toshiba ?

    I had one and it upconverted standard DVD's extremely well. Nice unit.

    The A2 is actually a pretty nice unit. Upconverts very well, plays HD-DVDs, and actually sounds pretty good for CDs too IMHO (not a high-end CD player, mind you). The A2 is really, really well made (most in japan if i remember correctly.). You will not be disappointed.
