Optoma HD70 Calibration

I was just wondering if anyone has calibrated a projector. I have an optoma hd70 and got digital video essentials blue-ray from netflix, but i notice in my optoma menu there is red, blue, green, (controls) which i understand but there is other funtion which i do not. Under the color settings there are other ones which say red bias , green bias, and blue bias. In other words does anyone know what that means and will the calibration dvd do those color settings as well. here are some pics of my ghetto theater.
If someone has calibrated this projector or can explain the bias settings and any advice for my first video calibration that would be great.
Happy holidays

Have you checked in at the AVSforum? I am sure they have an official post for your proj.
You need to get comfortable with the menus and what the features do. Stay away from the service menus unless you know what you're doing but you could get there.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

Yes i have but the posts are about what settings they have for the optoma, but nothing about how to calibrate it yourself.Audio:

In my TV the red, blue, and green controls colors in bright scenes and the Bias controls are for colors in darker scenes.Casey

Can not answer your question about the difference in color but here would be a great place to ask http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=729665&page=78Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)

thanx thats good info but i fiquare that each settings (on other peoples optomas) would not work unless the bulb was the same age and they were using the exact screen.Audio:
