Has anybody ever had one and would any one buy one? I found one for about $140 brand new and would like some help in determining if I should buy it or not. I've heard mixed review about Monster product and would like to know if anybody on here has ever had one and would it actually make a difference for my home audio and tv. Also would you buy one or rather get a panamax for 200 bucks more and is there any other power center that you guys would recommend me to buy instead of these two brands. Thanks

I have a Belkin PF 60, Monster 3600 and I think the other one is the Monster 3500.

No complaints on any of them. I didn't buy any of them new. I got all three of them out of the flea market and paid a little over $100 ea.

Most of the complaints about monster products are their cables and being over priced for what you get. For the price monster charges for cables, there are many better cables available. Also, monster has a tendency to try and beat up on smaller companies that they perceived to have infringed on their patents / designs. They do this to squash the competition and because they have more money than the smaller companies.

Never owned a panamax, so I can't offer an opinion on that one.

another vote for the Belkin PF 60 here, previously used the monster 3600 and i much prefer the Belkin...as soon as i unpacked the Belkin and noticed the gauge of the power cord i knew it meant business, as far as noticing a difference in PQ/AQ, cant say i have noticed any sufficient enough to post about, but as long as my equipment is protected its money well spent

I had a panamax, great first powerbar/ conditioner for me. I then bought a Monster 3600MKII of ebay for 175$ shipped to Canada. I bought it for 2 reasons, try something new and cause it had more inputs.

Thanks alot. I've been doing alot of internet search and found a Monster HTS 2600 for about the same price as the 1600. I'm also waiting for a guy to email me back about a 3600 used for the same price. I'm going to pick up the 2600 if the guy with the 3600 don't email me back today. I really don't like how the Belkin look. So thanks for all the help from everybody.

I have the 1600 and love it.
Check this out www.accessories4less.com for a couple of great deals.
The 2600 is $169.99 brand new. Not bad.

I just got done buying a Monster 2600. The guy with the 3600 try to sell me a story and jacked up the price to 150. His list price was for 100 used. I decided why wait, so I paid 132 total for the Monster 2600 and it was brand new. :)

Forget Monster Cable. Overpriced, Overlitigous... How about an H15 Power conditioner from APC? 1kva or 1.5kva.. I would trust APC equipement with my equipment any day over Monster Cable. Clearanced at $139 and $179 respectively.
