Polks vs other speaker brands ??????

OK, I am like ....:eek: at this point.

First I was going to choose the AVR, which I'm still looking at these...

Secondly, a lot of folks say to choose the speakers FIRST!
I was eyeing these...

2)Polk Audio PLK M10 2-way bookshelf, 89db
2)PLK M20 (amp power recom, 20-150w) or M50 Floor monitor,
1)PLK Center CS10,
1)PSW Sub 10"

Then looked at the JBL L810 3-way bookshelfs (88db), or the JBL E20's and 30's. But something keeps drawing me back to the polks.

Also, instead of buying a center speaker,a lot of thought from others is to just buy another matched bookshelf like the R and L speakers, being the same vertical and not horizontal shape gives a better balanced sound.???:eek: again.

A lot of other names are out there,like HSU Performance 1, or SVS.

I don't want a HTiab config., so I'll start with two fronts, and a Sub,then add on the surrounds and then the center,but like most, I don't want to spend a lot of money in today's economy,but I also do not want to be upgrading every other year also.

I do want to maybe hang the fronts, and the surrounds on the wall,providing I can find mounts that can handle the weight of the speakers, ( ie: JBL ES30's are 19.6 LBS each 8"Dx6.8"Wx12.4"H) too BIG! so they can't be drastically huge,but I think the 3-way, the higher the Sensitivity response like 88db or higher is best considering that 87db is acceptable.

Someone sent me his setup, although I do not want the floor standing speakers, I think, because of no room, which is 12' x 9', and the TV is on the long width of the wall>
