I need some help in what I'm trying to accomplish, maybe some of you have tried this product linked above or have had some experience with another product. What I have is an anal desire to keep all wires completely concealed while at the same time, running a flat cable about 5-6 feet in length until I am able to go back to regular coax. Then I need to go through another wall, hooking that same coax into a splitter that will feed the internet and an A/V setup.

If I just confused you as I think I just did to myself, here's the deal. My computer desk and mini LCD TV need to be moved downstairs to where there is no cable outlet. In fact, there's only one cable outlet downstairs and it's on the opposite side of the house so basically there's no freakin' way to run another coax from that outlet to where the internet and LCD TV will be hooked up without major construction and expense . So screw that.

I do, however have a cable/internet outlet that is in the bedroom that I can just split off upstairs and have one route going to the TV in the bedroom [2nd story]and the other route fitted under the carpet, dropped down into the garage and then wired through the garage wall to the location of the mini LCD TV and the computer's new location.

Here's the question, have any of you tried doing something like this before and if you have.....did it work with no issues? The internet connection and it's performance is what I'm concerned about. I know I can get a TV signal.

Do you have an open TV/Coax connector there?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

One in the MBR upstairs and the only other ones are WAY to far away to not get into ripping out the sheetrock, ceiling or incurring a lot of cost. The best option I have right now that I can think of is to utilize the hookup in the MBR upstairs and feed it down to the new location of the desk downstairs.

If I wasn't on a slab, I'd just run a coax in the crawl space like I've always done. This is my first slabbed house and I realize now what a pain it really can be. The one thing I don't want is to see wires, especially if it's gonna be a 20' run laid across the LR. I can't stand exposed wires. Going under the carpet presents it's own challenges and associated cost and I'd end up basically doing the same thing anyway. Kna' mean?

One more bump. I'd like to get this installed fairly quickly and anybody with experience with this product or another one, I sure would appreciate it if you could tell me that the internet would work with no issues.

Instead of running under the carpet, have you considered (especially the flat wire) running behind the baseboards?
It will require more wire, but can be completely hidden, and you don't have to worry about damage from walking on it.(carpet route) You can tape the flat wire to the wall, replace the baseboard, a bit of putty/touch-up paint, and your golden.

Just be very careful when prying the baseboards off, or you'll break through the drywall. (guess how I know);) Use a wide, flat piece of wood/metal/plastic to distribute the pressure.
