I got in the mail today a firmware update from Toshiba on DVD for one of their players I still own. I think that's pretty cool. We all know what happen earlier this year and how HD DVD was the looser in the high def disc war.
I had no idea a company would go to the effort to burn DVD's and mail them out on their dime for a all but dead format.
I have almost always bought Toshiba DVD players since the beginning.. they are well made and I have had little to no problems with the many different one's that i've owned over the years.
Big props to Toshiba for still releasing firmware updates to their HD DVD players.. for free.

agree with you. Own XA2 and A2. Both great investments, XA2 handles my SD DVD upconversion and does a great job.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
