I just bid on an Audioquest Optilink X Toslink cable for $1.95. I figured even though I had never heard of it, AQ makes good stuff so what could I have to loose at that price. There is still 4 days left in the auction, but I can't find ANY info on that cable. Has anyone used the Optilink X or have any info?

I emailed Audioquest about the Optilink X and here was their answer:

The X model only exists in our lineup in the installer series. It stands alone somewhere between the G and the Optilink-1.

Nice. If you got it for $2 plus shipping (assuming shipping wasn't exorbitant) I'd say you got a sweet deal.

The auction still has four days left on it, so I'm no where near the winner. Plus I'm still the only one who has bid, so I assume it will go up. Shipping is listed at $15, so with a fair closing bit, it might be a good deal as you were saying.

Does anyone have experience with Audioquest toslink cables?
